The first thing I do every morning is let my little pups go outside. Yesterday morning I got to the sliding glass door, and let out an, “Oh Shit!” I’m sure hubby thought the sky had fallen as I’m not much of a cusser, and in a way it had. He yelled, “What?” and I yelled, “It snowed! It snowed. . .and it’s still snowing!”
6:26 am - Of course I ran and grabbed the camera for you guys.
7:45 am - All the little birdies were out running around. My son thinks they were preparing for another winter.
7:50 am

9:30 am - Update for yesterday’s Fun Monday post on trails and paths. PS - Those last three photos (up there) were taken with the fisheye on the 5D body and it has a full frame sensor unlike our other cameras. So it looks really funky, doesn’t it?! I just felt the need to see the difference.
11:30 am - JoZe’s angel has a halo.
11:30 am - Cute duck is carrying quite a load. I think he’s saying, “Spring is here!” while all the other birds are migrating back south again.
Mother Nature likes teeter-totters. Saturday 30s, Sunday low 50s, Monday 30s. . .We had huge honking flakes flying until the afternoon and got a few inches. The ground was white when I went to sleep. Today we’re supposed to get back up to the 50s.
I'm sure you didn't want more snow but it has made for some more beautiful
photos~ I love the funky one I can see you will be having a lot of fun
producing some unusual shots!
oh, I am so sorry. But it did make for some pretty "last of the winter"
photos. The fisheye makes for some really awesome shots. I've been
looking at one for awhile hummm...
WOW... it's just so hard to imagine that you're still experiencing
winter's dying attempts to hang on. Terrific pictures and the fisheyes are
quite interesting! Stay warm! I'm glad to be where I'm at and expecting a
sunny 80ish day!
That fat birdy picture is darling! And the bridge pic and curvy trees pic
were beautiful. Thanks for sharing with all of us (I don't mind seeing
lovely pictures of snow, as long as they are not from my neighborhood in
April!)
I Love the fish eye..but I think I love the bike more.. the bike is super
cool..and then I like the angel and her little hat...
I know how much you LOVe to take pics! I didn't know if you would want to
enter this?!?!?! I go to this each and every year....
Just thought I would send you the info!!!!
This is CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY....
I was running around in shorts, tank top and flip flops!!! I can't get
over this?!?!?!
You managed to get some great photos, snow or not. I love them all but
especially like the bike.
Sweetie, It may have been a bad joke to you, but sure is BEAUTIFUL to me.
Ugh! I can't believe you're STILL getting snow! Great photos as always and
I really love the touch with the fisheye lens!
Cruel, cruel, cruel. I helped a customer this week who is just out of the
Marines, and he's packing up his family, and moving them to Oskosh. His
California born wife is not too happy. I told Bob, the guy was tall dark
and handsome, and she was short dumpy and round, maybe, he's hoping she'll
stay in California. I hope I'm wrong.
I think that snow came just for your camera! I especially like the bike and
the duck, though they are all outstanding.
I can't believe it actually snowed up there!! I love the pictures,
especially the angel and duck!
Oh yes, we had the same white crap too. How DEPRESSING! These were
fantastic shots! I loved loved loved the fish-eye shot on the trees!
AMAZING!
First let me say that in 10 years of college, I earned 5 two year degrees.
Of course that doesn't sound any better than the 10 yrs thing. hahaha
No shit....!
I know what you are going through. It has almost all melted here now and
it has been really nice the last couple of days. It is raining now, and is
suppose to cool off enough to possible snow again. I hope it doesn't get
too cold, my plants are all out in the sun room under plastic. I do have a
heater under the tables they are sitting on, so hopefully they will be warm
enough.
Wow! Lisa, that bike picture is amazing!! And the ones with the
fisheye...VERY cool!! Our weather has been wild too....it was up near 80,
then tonight 40 again. Wish it would just stay a happy medium at 60 all
year round!!
I can only guess you've had MORE than enough of the snow by now, but wow,
it sure made for some fantastic photos!
It's almost June for Pete's Sake!! I would definetly be a little more than
just miffed at Mother Nature. But she did provide you with some beautiful
photos!!
I keep waiting for the snow to hit us, but nothing yet...
Should it not be warming up over there now? Its getting really cold down
here!
nice duck. i love the crayons. makes me want to bust out my books and
color. yes, i'm a child in an adults body !
I loved your C post! Too bad about the snow, but at least you got some
beautiful photos out of it. I'm sure you could find the beauty in anything
with your fab photographic talent. I really like the fish eye photos!
Very cool. I also love the photos from your favorite walk.
What an awesome series of photos ... especially since it's been in the
mid-80s here in Southern California for the last couple of weeks.
Hugs and blessings,
I recognize the Chipping Sparrow ( I think)
The birds sure frenzy feed when it snows.
Our friends up in the lower mountain elevation got 3 inches the other
morning.
I could see it up there.
I sure hope the sun doesn't come out and burn us all up now.
