safety orange
We got out and around a bit and enjoyed the beautiful day! I'm not sure the hows or whys but when there's a dead deer on the side of the road someone goes around and paints a flourescent orange X on the carcass. Someone else removes them later.
Our son is a little disgusted that we didn't let him get a photo of one such deer but what he said was so clever, I'm still giggling.
"But he had his orange vest on!!"
I took a few photos and will work on getting them up in the next few days. :)
Here, they often lay on the side of road for days, sometimes even a week or
more. I hate that it takes so long to remove these animals. I often
wonder what that is saying about us as a society.
Haven't heard of that yet.
In Germany you have to go and report any accident with a deer or you bget a
real big fine when they catch you later.
Over here, animals just rott at the sidre of the road until nothing's
left... :S
Winnebago county doesn't clean up roadkill anymore, so we have to deal with
it, yuck.
IS it Camera Casino that you come to? It is a very top notch camera store
in downtown Oshkosh. They close downtown for traffic Thursday, and we do
not know when filming is exactly, somewhere between the 10th-20th. I doubt
I will get down there and catch any filming though I would love to see JD
up close, he was one of my early celebrity crushes.
