On our trek up to the Rocky Mountains we happened upon a cute little church.
We pulled in the parking lot and walked the path in front of the church and around the small pond. Such a cute little rock church!
The view of the mountains from there wasn’t bad either.
And Jesus watching over the church. I finally got up the guts to walk up the stairs to the church and I found a sign about visitors being welcome and telling where to go if the church was locked. Luck would have it that a Priest was there, cleaning up from a wedding.
See, I told you it was small. But I really enjoyed poking around a bit.
St Catherine of Siena stained-glass window.
What a beautiful place, awesome church and countryside!
I just hope that we get DSL this week, I can go and bake a cake until I can
see all your pics ;)
I'd love to be able to go to this church...what a setting for meditation
and prayer! And I absolutely love that shot of the stained glass with the
flowers. Awesome!!!
I love that church. How beautiful. And, I'm very partial to Catherine of
Siena, too.
Such wonderful photos ~ looks like a busy but fun vacation.
That's gorgeous. Reminds me of a little church in Italy.
Wow! That looks like something out of a movie. Absolutely breathtaking!
I'd love to visit it. I live in Colorado. Where is it?
Love your photos of this stone church...it is fun just poking around
sometimes, isn't it??
