Khris passed!!

While on the subject of the DMV or MVD, depending on where you live, Wisconsin has one of the best systems I’ve found. Now I’m basing my opinion on only four states (AZ, MO, TX and WI) but still. Here we have no long lines to wait in. Typically, you are in and out in less than 15 minutes. I imagine it is because they really encourage you to just mail everything in. In fact, you are charged extra to go to the office. We have no inspections on the vehicles, which I guess could be bad, but it sure saves some work when it’s time to renew your plates.

The biggest draw back is in order to take your driving test you may have to wait and wait and wait. Khris signed up in September to take his and December 14th was the soonest they could fit him in. I remember going in Missouri and not needing an appointment, it was first come, first serve.

But he passed! His sister was kind enough to take him since Dennis needed my presence here today.  She took him out to lunch to celebrate his success.  Then when he got home he found the little treat (8 lbs Starbucks Christmas mix coffee and gift card) we had left for him.  He now wants to know what would have happened to the coffee if he had failed.  I told him we had confidence in him.  He passed!  So now the sky can listen to my pleas.

Yes, I really love snow that much. If I was rich I would drive wherever the weatherman predicted snow and just follow it everywhere. It’s beautiful, fresh, invigorating, fluffy, peaceful and virgin. I want to see it piled to my roof. Just let me go shopping first.
