I was jumping up and down and running round and round when I discovered I was one of the Rocking Grandmas! I am so proud to be part of this crew! Now to find some more grandmas to pass it on to. ♥ Thanx Chris!
I've spent a few extra hours with my grandson this week and while it means a few extra cobwebs have popped up around here I can't say that I regret it. I put some photos of him up on his blog.

I saw this little accent thingy over at MP's and well I just had to do it. I'm still laughing because I spend a good portion of my life answering the question, "Where are you from?", due to my accent.
| What American accent do you have? Your Result: The West Your accent is the lowest common denominator of American speech. Unless you're a SoCal surfer, no one thinks you have an accent. And really, you may not even be from the West at all, you could easily be from Florida or one of those big Southern cities like Dallas or Atlanta. | |

I'm working on a huge group of photos but they aren't quite ready yet so I'll leave you with this one. I think you can tell how cold it is outside just by looking at this woodpecker.
I had to laugh when I saw it was 18 below and "Fair" in Plover. Gorgeous
photo. I need a new camera! Arrggghh.
If I was American I would be from the Northeast ;)
Your grandson is a cutey! Rock on Grandma :o) We have the same
non-accent.
No big surprise, I have a southern accent though it was close. I guess
that's because while I have lived in the south all my life, I lived in
Atlanta and Houston, two mega cities with lots of different people from
lots of different places. That was fun
Congrats on the award! "We will, we will rock you!" New theme song for
the rockin' grandmas!
Well, I didn't need to take that quiz to know I have a Boston accent, but I
took it anyway, and I do. ;-)
It's been a few years since I've taken a similar test --
I got the same as you
Interesting....my quiz results say I have a "midland" accent which means I
don't have an accent. I've lived in Georgia my entire life. I bet if it
asked whether I've ever referred to "shorts" as "short pants" it would
realize I'm a southern girl. I still can't believe I called them that in
front of my ex's New York family.
What a gorgeous woodpecker! I've never seen one that looks like he's got
on a houndstooth coat :-) And your grandson is a dol. Look at that smily
face.
Wow! Congrats on being a Rockin' Grandma! I still think you look
wayyyyyyyyy too young to be a grandma though!! ;)
Awww! Your grandson is just too C.U.T.E!!!
Fun quiz! And quite correct in my case.
Your grandbaby sure is a cutie. I took the accent quiz. Turns out I sound
like I'm from the Midwest. Imagine that. I hated it when people in Alaska
would say I had an accent, but couldn't give any examples of what they
meant. Just because I didn't mispronounce words like they did doesn't mean
I have an accent.
OMG...he is SO adorable..you are the rocking grandma!
people think I have an accent too.. I don't get it.
Congrats on the award! Your Grandson is adorable.
And according to that quiz, I don't have an accent (a.k.a. the midland
accent). :-)
Your grandson is absolutely ADORABLE.
I love the rocking grandma crew...that is a cute pic!!! =)
You have no idea how jealous I am of your bird pictures. LOVE the
woodpecker!!!
Congrats on the Grandma award. I went to check out the photos on his blog,
they are great. I won't take the quiz since I am not from the states, but
it might be interesting to see if the test is confused. That wood pecker
looks quite ruffled up.
