Post FM: I had a great time hosting this week and hope I haven't scared you all off with my quirks! I'm a part of a great group of quirky people, if you don't believe me, scroll down to the list and go for some visits. Thanx everybody for fessing up, and through your confessions I discovered a few more quirks I didn't realize I had. Thanx a lot for that! :)~

First, I have to thank you for letting me hi-jack Fun Monday for a week! Thanx Guys! Then I need to thank AFF for inspiring such a fun topic. Thanx Girl!
So, I asked you guys to tattle on yourselves.
A quirk is defined as a peculiarity of action, behavior, or personality; mannerism. We are all unique individuals, having quirks that help make us who we are. I would like to know what your quirks are. Confess to one, confess to ten, you decide. Just come back Monday ready to spill the beans, the rest of the world may look at you like you are from Mars, but you‘re among friends here. We won’t laugh, in fact that eccentricity just may endear you to us more.
I ran around all week asking my family what I do that is weird. Might I suggest never doing that? Boy did they come up with a list! I don’t think I’ll share them all. But here a few from their list.
Ok, I had to add one more, it’s a good one, When I ask a question I always ask two questions. And the questions would have opposite answers if the person answered both. For instance, “Do you want to read a book? Or do you want to watch tv?” or “Should we go to the store? Should we stay home? Or I know we can go to the movie. Do you want to go to the movie? You’re probably too tired aren’t you?” or “I’m getting hungry, are you hungry? Oh no, you just ate an hour ago so you probably aren’t hungry. Are you?” I mostly do this with my husband and while writing it down it dawned on me that maybe I’m just carrying the conversation.
I think that’s enough quirkiness from me for one day. Run over and see how quirky our fellow bloggers are. Other people fessing up today are:
Now wait a minute, this can’t be, a post without photos?! No way. I had to edit and add a few.
My son’s quirk is washing off his rock collection.
Hope you’re keeping cool!
Ha! Great list. I did the same thing...asked my hubby what is "quirky"
about me. He said, "You're hardheaded." *hmph* Mine will be up at
midnight :0)
I'm gonna play this week! Let's see what I can come up with....
Sign me up! I'm trying to decide what my quirk is.
I have to sleep with a really long body pillow that I hug and throw one leg
over. I don't sleep comfortably without it. At least now I know I'm not
alone in having to have extra pillows to hug.
I'm in! Better late than never!
I used to have to eat my meat brown all the way through, but I can stand
some pink now. (My father-in-law still has to make some meat special for
myself and my sister-in-law who can't stand how rare he cooks a lot of his
stuff!).
I like your quirks - any water shot you take is FANTAB - this was so fun
Lisa!
thanks so much for hosting Lisa...great topic!! I have the same quirk with
the food on my plate....it has to be arranged a certain way...too funny!!
I can't wait to read all the posts...this should be a fun monday for
sure!!!
Please sign me up. Thank you.
Thanks for a fun time Lisa. You don't sound that quirky at all. I sleep
with a feather pillow but only one. Eat my meat medium well with a little
pink.
Some of your "quirks" I share with you. My food has to be arranged a
certain way on my plate, and I eat things in a certain order. I, too, must
have at least three pillows when I sleep, and my meat must be very well
done, even burnt to a crisp! Enjoyed your list!
I totally forgot to comment on your quirks!!
Oh! I carry the conversation too! Creepy. How would we ever talk in
person?! That would be interesting to find out!
Thank goodness! I'm not the only person with a pillow quirk.
You are indeed so quirky! I'm just trying to picture all the stuff you
mentioned -- I swear I've never heard of such a thing as a straw making
the liquid too warm.
Hey -- I don't like meat either - so I just don't eat it.
I guess I should have really written about myself. You'll see I didn't quite follow the rules. (we just got back from a weekend trip for a 4 year old birthday - and I had this story already written. tsk
Love the spray on the photo. Washing off your rock collection is a good
thing, isn't it? It's funny about your double questions, sounds like you
want clarity and like to leave the options open. I do the same thing with
ice sometimes, but pink was the only way I liked my meat for a long while
(while I hated the color otherwise). Thanks for including me, this was a
lot of fun.
I'm having a hard time see what's so quriky about your list! Well, except
for the pillow thing, I don't use any pillows...
Wow you are indeed a "quirky" person, lol ! But nothing very disturbing !
Cute! I've added mine, I'll have to tell the hubby that I'm not the only
"weird" person that must have ice in their milk!
Hey Lisa ~
Lisa,
Thank you for hosting this week's Fun Monday. I see that there are several
participants eager to confess. I am looking forward to reading everyone's
post. If you come to visit, I will try to serve the Diet Coke ice cold and
the food hot. Hopefully, you do not want your food grilled as I don't
grill.
What a fun fun monday! I don't like pink in my meat either...
My husband is a burnt food guy. Drives me up the wall. I like my meat
tender thankyouverymuch. Thanks for hosting!
I have posted my very first Fun Monday blog and confessed to the world my
biggest quirk. Stop by to read all about me at
http://adamswife.wordpress.zazzysmilies.com/?p=393
Your quirks aren't too bad; I actually like them and can somewhat relate to
a few. :)
Thanks for doing a fabulous job of hosting this week, Lisa, and for getting
me all wet with the hose, I feel much COOLER now!! LOL!
I love your list. The last one especially made me laugh. Thanks for
hosting Lisa, it's been fabulous. :D
ICE ICE and more ice. And if the food joint I roll into has styrofoam cups
(I know that is taboo! Shh.) BONUS!!!
Love the theme! Mine's up. A little late in the day, but at least it's
there!
my husband sleeps with a "hugging" pillow :-)
I do that pillow thing too - at least three, preferably four. Five is
getting a bit much. I'm a side sleeper now too. I used to sleep on my
back, but then I got pregnant and could never go back.
What a fun post!!! LOL! I'm with you on the ketchup thing...and the meat
having absolutely no pink too...oh, and the sleeping with a zillion pillows
and the fact that my food has to be hot, hot, hot too!
Thank you! For Hosting Fun Monday. It's hard job and you did it sooooo
well!!! We wash our rocks off here, too.
I'll have to remember that question the next time I want to get my kids
talking to me ;)
I am so with you on the ice thing. You can just imagine my dismay when we
moved to Germany and I discovered they drink soda at room temperature. No.
Ice. Ever. Can you imagine? I couldn't even find ice trays in the
stores... My mom had to send me some from the States.
