Fun Monday - My song
Julie wants to know what song we relate to. Which song most represents me? Well I assigned a song to myself quite a few years back and although I haven't really thought about it lately I think I'll just stick to that one.
You have no idea the joys I experienced when I asked my husband and son to help me find this video on YouTube. You guys are really trying to change me now aren't ya? Remember? I hate YouTube! But, I have just experienced a first. A YouTube video in one of my posts! And, I only had to listen to my son and husband sing along to it once they helped me find it. This was fun but don't expect me to start adding videos all the time.
So back to my song. Meredith Brooks said it best when she wrote "Bitch".

I hope you don't think less of me, now that you know. :) My husband was wishing he had his own blog so he could participate this time but since he doesn't I'll just add his little ole song below here. Shhh, he'll never know. I found this one all by myself. :) What sort of monster has been unleashed?
Update: I added the little weather box thingamajig up there so you can feel really sorry for me. :) It truly is a frozen tundra up here. With windchills dipping into the negative 30s! Frozen boogers, and I walked from the car to the door and had frozen hair! I kid you not, it was hard as a rock, stiff as a board, frozen. What was I doing outside with wet hair, why going for a Mocha Frappuccino of course.
I can definitely relate to that song myself. My song, unfortunately, was
thrust upon me. It is not the one I would have picked to represent myself
- especially since at the time the woman in the song was a hell of a lot
wiser than I was!
Great songs. I am glad you braved Youtube..these were worth it. itch is one
of my favorites too.

Those are great lyrics. I think that they probably fit most of us. The
video that you picked for your hubby is hilarious.
You have to know, hubby picked that song for himself. :) Now you're really

Sheesh, Lisa, I'm out of the loop for a day or two and you've conducted a
give-away, posted videos, and eaten birthday cake! I love the closeup of
that cake, by the way - very cool. Your shot of the great potato escape

Lisa...great song! When it first came out (I belive in 1997, or so), I was
working at "Baja Beach Club"...the MOST HAPPENING, HOTTEST nightclub in St.
Louis. The staff was required to make up our own "Dynamics"...skits which
we individually cheoreographed, costumed, and either sang or lip-synched.
Good pick - I wish I'd thought of that one.

Love your song but I have to admit to singing your hubby's favorite song
many many MANY times in my lifetime. I've never heard a guy liking it
though but I think it was certainly written with a man in mind LOL
I got such a late start visiting others today, I have to make my comments

you as well as I thought, because this is NOT the song that comes to mind
when I think of "Chaos Lisa"! Funny other stuff you've included in this
